Henry I (1100-35), Penny, 1.32g, Double Inscription type, (BMC XI), Hastings, Wulnot, bust left crowned and diademed, holding a sceptre; in field, two quatrefoils of annulets, rev. +PVL[ ]TO, +NHASTI, double inscription between three beaded circles, the outer inscription divided by four quatrefoils in circles; in centre, a cross pattÉe (N867; S1272), cracked, very good detail, good very fine, extremely rare and a new moneyer for the type
