Edward the Confessor (1042-66), Penny, 1.02g, PACX type, London, BrightmÆr, diademed bust left, rev. +BRIHTMÆR O LV, long cross voided with circle enclosing pellet at centre, pellet in circle at end of one limb, C R V X in angles (N814/1 var; S1171), surface cracks to rev. only, toned, good very fine, extremely rare.

PACX issue varieties with CRVX in the angles are extremely rare, this variety with only one arm having the terminal pellet in circle not noted in North.
