Charlie Chester Productions Limited, typewritten indenture representing a legal agreement between Charlie Chester and his company, inter alia about the transfer of copyrights, performing and reproduction rights for literary dramatic musical or artistic work to the company as well as an annual payment of £1,250, [1955], handsigned by Charlie Chester as Director, 4 pages, three embossed revenue stamps, embossed company seal. Charlie Chester (1914-1997) was an English comedian and TV and radio presenter. He was broadcasting almost continuously from the 1940s to the 1990s, mainly for the BBC. Amongst many other shows he became well known for "The Charlie Chester Show" (a prior radio show adapted for television in 1949) and "Charlie Chester On Laughter Service" (a music and comedy show). Folded 3 times (to "pocket size"), otherwise extremely fine.
