1873 gründeten die Prontruter Jules Dubail, Jean-Baptiste Monnin und Joseph Frossard dieses Unternehmen. Als 1899 Jules Dubail das Unternehmen verlässt, wird die Gesellschaft in „Société d’Horlogerie de Porrentruy“ umbenannt. 1902 wird das Unternehmen liquidiert und die Produktion als „Phénix Watch Co. SA“ weitergeführt.
