Die Biel-Täuffelen-Ins-Bahn wurde 1912 als Seeländische Lokalbahnen mit Sitz in Täuffelen gegründet. 1926 konnte die gesamte Strecke von Nidau bis zum Bieler Bahnhofplatz vollendet werden. 1945 in Biel-Täuffelen-Ins-Bahn AG umbenannt. Heute Aare Seeland mobil AG.
