Compagnie Française des Ponts-Vergniais, 500 francs share, Paris, 185[4], no.2735, green, black, original signatures, superb design, The company was founded by Andrés Mendizábali in 1853 to build bridges using the new Vergniais suspension system. It was active in steel business and in bridge building. The certificate shows the Pont du Lingnon on top with more bridges at bottom left and right. The certificate was designed by A. Colette and engraved by H. Blaise. Light fold, good very fine.
