When Josef Honig took over the company from his father, he specialised in cotton spinning. In 1921, the company was changed into an Aktiengesellschaft and its name changed to Spinnerei und Wirkwarenfabriken M. Honig AG. After Josef Honig's death, the company was sold to Isidor Herbst who had to sell his participation to the Creditanstalt in 1936. The name was once more changed to Patria Spinnerei und Wirkwarenfabriken Aktiengesellschaft. Print signature of Josef Honig.
