Mining in Semmering territory, south-west of Vienna, goes back to copper mining in 1200 B.C. and did not end bevor 1986. In 1894, Fürst Schwarzenberg took over the mining area Hirschwang and Knappenberg. In 1920, he sold them to Bankier Jarislowsky from Berlin, who resold them to the Payerbacher Eisengewerkschaft. The Oberschlesische Eisen- und Kohlenwerke AG took a large participation into the mine. Very decorative four page Kux with many entries in the middle.
