The company was the Austrian subsidiary of the famous Lingnerwerke AG in Berlin, best known for its mouthwash Odol. At the end of the 1930s, his mouthwash was produced in more than twenty countries. In 1939, the assets of the company was taken over by the German parent company. Today the company is a part of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare.
