The company was the result of the takeover of "Deckert & Homolka" in Wien, Prague and Brünn by the "Österreichische Elektrizitäts-AG" and the Swedish "L.M. Ericsson & Co." in 1912. It was active in the electrical industry in the field of telephone, telegraph and broadcasting. In 1939, Ericsson sold its participation and the company changed its name to Schrack-Ericsson Elektrizitäts Aktiengesellschaft.
