The concession to build and operate this short connection line between Stramberg (Štramberk) and Wernsdorf (Verovice) in today's Czech Republic was given to the private company Lindheim & Comp. In 1896, the line was opened. In 1903, operations were taken over by the Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn.
