After the incorporation of many suburban areas into the city of Vienna the Land Niederöstereich / Erzherzogthum Österreich unter der Ems and the city of Vienna formed this company for financing of the construction of transport infrastructure. The city of Vienna built the Vienna Stadtbahn. It was financed through these loans, divided into three emissions, 1894, 1897 and 1900. All three emissions were paid back fully.
