This railway was an early railway in the northern part of Bohemia and was built in 1858 to transport brown coal from Teplitz to the Elb-port of Assig. The company extended its network gradually, and in 1924 it was the last big, private railway in Bohemia to be nationalised. Today it is part of the Czech Railways. This loan was issued for the construction of the Teplitz-Reichenberg line.
