The Reichsgau Tirol-Vorarlberg (Gau Tyrol-Vorarlberg) was an administrative division of Nazi Germany consisting of Vorarlberg and North Tyrol. It existed from 1938 to 1945. Print signature of Franz Hofer (1902-1975) as Reichsstatthalter. In April 1945, Hitler appointed Hofer as Reich Defence Commissar of the "Alpenfestung." In May 1945, he surrendered to American troops. The bond was quoted at Vienna exchange.
