The Reichsgau Oberdonau (Gau Upper Danube) was an administrative division of Nazi Germany consisting of Upper Austria and parts of southern Bohemia. The Gau had the honorary title of "Heimatgau des Führers" (Home Gau of the Führer. It existed between 1938 and 1945. Print signature of August Eigruber (1907-1947), Nazi Gauleiter of Reichsgau Oberdonau (Upper Danube) and Landeshauptmann of Upper Austria, later hanged by the Allies for crimes against humanity at Mauthausen concentration camp. This bond of 11.2 million Reichmark was issued according to the ordonnance from the 14. June 1940 on interest-reduction and the change of currency and was replacing the loan of 1934.
