Colonization Society of India, Limited, 5.5% First Mortgage Debenture for 100 Rupees, 193[8], no.381, of only 1000 issued, black, blue-grey, embossed seal. The company was formed in 1933. and acquired 10,000 acres of land spread across the villages of Harhu, Duli, Ramdagga, Konka, Lapra, Hesalong, Mayapur, Mohulia and Baseria. Sold shares to Anglo-Indians who wished to settle in the new colony with eventually around 350 families settling in the area. Extremely fine.
