Ethiopia: International Ethiopian Railway Trust & Construction Company Limited, £1 shares, 19(03), 2 examples, black on green paper, text in English and French. After the financial problems of the Compagnie Impériale des Chemins de fer d'Éthiopie, this company was formed by English and French investors to supply fresh capital to the venture. The line was from Addis Ababa to the port of Djiboouti. The former company was bankrupt by 1906 and a new one was formed but even then it took another 10 years to complete the line. Together with a small group of 5 certificates for Compagnie Generale d'Abyssinie, 500 franc shares, 1921, of only 4000 issued, attractive border, blue-greem with coupons. Very fine and extremely fine. (7)
