Northern Liberties Rail Road, 6% Bond (subscribed by the Pennsylvania Railroad) for $1,000, Philadelphia, 1851, no. 290, black, white, six decorative vignettes, hole cancellation, one coupon attached. The company was incorporated as Northern Liberties and Penn Townships Railroad in 1829. It later became part of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Trimmed (as usual), small paper losses at upper margin, but in comparison with other known certificates in good condition, about very fine.
