Government 4% Funding Loan, 1919 bearer bond for £50, no.024532, large format, scrollwork at sides, brown, with coupons, about very fine and extremely rare. [R12]

All British Government bearer bonds are rare as all have been repaid when due. Bonds are occasionally seen with cancellations but this piece is free of any form of cancellation and retains coupons from 1933. Currently the only piece known.
