(x) James I (1603-1625), second coinage 1604-19, Rose Ryal of 30-Shillings, m.m. rose, iacobvs d g mag brit fran et hiber rex, king enthroned facing, portcullis at feet, throne back with scrolling, rev. a dno factvm est istvd et est mirab in ocvlis nris, shield on rose (Schneider 6 same dies; N.2079; S.2613), on a full, broad flan, with a crisp strike showing the tiniest details exquisitely, the important centers (normally weak even on the finest pieces) being sharply defined, rare, more so in this remarkable quality, NGC graded MS-64
