Customs Datestamp: 1878 (27 Aug.) 5ca. orange-yellow [13] bearing a central strike of the "i.g. of customs/peking" datestamp in blue.


The stamp is well centred and the condition is very fine to superb. The strike is quite light but still easily readable.


One of the gems of Chinese philately, this stamp has been well documented as the earliest example of the Large Dragon stamps. Photo
