2c. on 3c. red variety surcharge inverted, surcharge [9/20] block of four, part to large part original gum; some adherences on the gum where this block had become stuck to the sheet below and there are a couple of small thins; some hinge remnants also strengthen some split perforations. An exceptionally well centred block with fresh colour and white paper. Only nine blocks of four recorded. S.G. 93a, £192,000; Chan 84i

It is estimated that 180 stamps were issued, these derive from sheets "1004" and "1245". The colour and centring suggests that this block came from sheet "1004"
