5 Candareens, Setting VA
5ca. lemon-yellow in a complete sheet of twenty, with full original gum; part hinge remainders at top and there is a small surface deposit on [17]. A fine and very rare sheet in post office appearance. A highly important setting sheet without margins as are all the known sheets

The difference between Setting V and VA is seen on cliché [22]. It was during this printing that the two breaks in the left frame lines appeared. Setting VA shows the broken frame lines.



Beckeman's study found only two sheets of setting V and two of setting VA. Our survey found the following three setting V sheets (other than the setting VA offered here).
