3ca. dull red, two blocks of four which join to make the bottom two rows of the sheet, cancelled by faint 1888 (20 July) Customs Ningpo c.d.s. in pale bluish. Some minor ageing does not detract from this fine setting piece

It seems that a few sheets of Large Dragon stamps were cancelled by favour in Ningpo at this time and similarly cancelled blocks of 1ca. and 3ca. may be found in past auction catalogues
