The HongKong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, archival photographic proofs for $5 and $10, uniface obverse and reverse pairs, c.1972, unissued types, bank crest at right, '5' and '10' in Chinese characters at left, the reverse shows the HSBC building and two lions, these two notes were intended to replace the 'maiden' series which were used (albeit with size changes) from 1927.
