Reserve Bank of Ceylon, group of archival photographic proofs for a proposed 1950 issue, containing 10, 50, 100 and 1000 rupees, the first 3 denominations are in complete pairs (uniface obverse and reverse) and the 1000 rupees uniface reverse only, the designs of each contains George VI, similar to the issues of 1951 and the reverses similar to reverses of the 1952 (Queen Elizabeth) issue
