Central Bank of the Gambia, specimen 1 dalasi printed on 'Bradvek', ND (1982), serial number H000000, purple on multicolour underprint, President Dawda Kairaba Jawara at right, sailing boat at left, value at each corner, reverse purple, rice farmers
(Pick 4s for type, TBB B201fs for type), Bradvek was a form of Tyvek polymer, first used for printing one of the £1 Isle of Man banknotes in 1983. This signature/prefix combination is actually incorrect, but the signature was first used in 1982, meaning the date ties in perfectly. There is no watermark or equivalent, but the design is otherwise identical to the 1 dalasi first issued in 1971. Completely uncirculated, and a very interesting discovery. Currently the only example believe extant.
