Kingdom of Persis, Autophradates II (early- mid 2nd cent. BC), AR Tetradrachm, 16.37g, diademed head right, wearing kyrbasia with eagle on top, rev. fire-temple with Ahura-Mazda hovering above, between the king and a bow on left, and an eagle perched on standard on right ( Klose and Mueseler 3/1 var. ; Alram 546 var.; BMC 1 var.), the addition of a bow beside Autophradates on the reverse appears to be unrecorded, the king's head on the obverse in high relief, extremely fine and very rare, very few examples known and this possibly the finest portrait
