William III (1694-1702), Halfcrowns (2), 1696y, 1697N, nono edge, both first bust right, rev. mag br fra et hib rex, the second with no stop after mag & fra, (S.3486, 3491; ESC 1094 (539), 1093 (550B)), the first cleaned with pitted surfaces, otherwise very fine and rare, the second toned, nearly very fine, scarce. The second with R in BR struck over an uncertain letter, possibly an L (2)
