James I (1603-25), third coinage, Halfcrown, 14.90g, m.m. thistle, King on horseback right, groundline with grass below, rev. garnished square topped shield, plume above (N.2123; S.2667), the reverse double struck, good fine and very rare with grass below the horse
There was no example with grass for this mintmark in either the Lingford or Adams collections.
