Naval Long Service & G.C., G.V.R., 1st 'Admiral's bust' type (188767. Bertie Pearce. P.O.1.Cl. H.M.S. Argyll.), nearly extremely fine, together with the following:
- A Boiler Room brass plaque salvaged from the wreck of H.M.S. Argyll, this impressed 'Bye-Pass Cock To Be Opened Before Opening Regulating Value', with an affixed note to the reverse stating 'H.M.S. Argyll foundered on Bell Rock, October 1915. This Boiler Room brass plate was given to me by the salvor, Alec Crawford of Kilburn's Salvage Company, Newport-on-Tay, Fife. It had laid on the seabed about 70 years.'

H.M.S. Argyll
The Devonshire-Class Armed Cruiser vessel was launched in March 1904, at a length of 473 feet; she was wrecked in a storm on Bell Rock, off the coast of Angus, Scotland, 28.10.1915. The wreck remains diveable to this day.
