16439 Sergeant Hugh Forrester, born 1894; son of Mr A. Forrester, of 6 Hill Street, Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland; served with the 6th Battalion Cameron Highlanders during the Great War on the Western Front; killed in action, 24.4.1917 and is commemorated upon the Arras Memorial, France.
