The Association Medal was awarded for special services to the Association, for example in organising the Regimental activities of the Association; for promoting abstinence within the Regiment; or in taking pledges.

The 'India's Hope' Medal, a silver eight-pointed star with the monogram 'STA' in the centre, was issued by the Soldiers' Total Abstinence Association in 1875, although the criteria for it being awarded is unknown.
