A fine example of a gilt plated back plate with silver mounts, comprising a circular strap 'North Lincoln' enclosing the Roman numeral 'X', a crown with Battle Honour 'Peninsula' above, a Sphinx with Battle Honour 'Egypt' below, with attendant laurel sprays, complete with reverse fastening pins and hooks, good very fine
