Lieutenant James Hugh Ernes Cook, born April, 1886; served with the Indian Postal Service from 26.4.1907; the History of Services comments 'On a special duty in connection with the Coronation Durbar from 29th November to 16th December 1911'; served with the Indian Expeditionary Force during the Great War on the Western Front from 12.8.1914.
