Hellrigl #27 var., 1901-1907 1a Blue with recut frame on native paper, imperforate, setting 26B, position 64, being the second recutting of this position and showing the plate flaw of bottom left corner broken off, tied to cover by non-standard circular cancel of Gahawa II (Birganj), two negative date stamps of Gahawa on the reverse, to Kathmandu and backstamped, small stains at top of cover of no consequence, otherwise very fine; a nice usage of a scarce variety of the 1a recut frame issue.(Scott #23 var' S.G. #24).
