1871 Inbound stampless cover, originating in Tirhoot with nice "Tirhoot/JA 11 71" c.d.s. on reverse of this petite cover, along with equally nice "Nepaul/JA 15 71" c.d.s. of the British-Indian Post Office (Hellrigl type B23), very fine and attractive, this marking of Nepal is one of the very rare markings of this office with Hellrigl estimating less than ten examples known.
