Hellrigl #39, a, 1917-30 2a Lavender on native paper, imperforate, complete sheet of 56, setting 20, this is a setting that covers both the postal and telegraph periods, used with light Birganj telegraph cancels, attractive light color on rather sturdy paper, the impression and paper imply an earlier printing but certainly used in the telegraph period, inverted cliches are found in positions 7-8, 9 and 19, large balanced margins all around, one horiz. and vert. fold between rows as usual, very fine and attractive; Hellrigl lists two used sheets known thus this is one of possibly only two known used sheets (for a second sheet in a different shade see the next lot) (Scott #14, a var.; S.G. #37, a; £1,276+).
