Hellrigl #23a, b, 1899-1907 ½a Black early printings on native paper, imperforate, complete sheet of 64, setting 3, unused without gum as issued, wide full and untrimmed selvages now showing no sheet frame lines, one inverted cliche is in position 7 only which is unique to this setting only, paper thicker and of a dirty buff tint which is characteristic of setting 3, a couple of faint horizontal folds between rows, very fine; Hellrigl notes that most sheets of this setting were pin-perforated but does not specify how many of the five known complete sheets are imperforate and pin-perforated, this is one of only three imperforate sheets that we are aware (Scott #10 var.; S.G. #22; £4,520+).
