Hellrigl #2b, 18812a Pale purple, pin-perforated on European wove paper, setting 1-3, an early printing of this value in the pale shade, clear impression, exceptionally well centered and fresh on bright white paper possessing white original gum, choice very fine; on this value the early clear printings had white gum and seem to be scarcer than the brown gum that was used later (Scott #2; $375.00; S.G.#2; £400).
