                        S.G. #3, 1848 1p Orange vermilion, Earliest Impression, position 10, a gem used example that features numerous outstanding physical attributes, including four large to huge margins (probably a sheet margin at bottom), gorgeous vibrant color and an incredibly detailed Earliest Impression on wonderfully fresh paper, with slight underinking at bottom right corner due to the ""sticky print"" so characteristic only to the Earliest Impression printings, neat central target cancel, extremely fine.[cr][lf][cr][lf]An absolutely superb used example of this classic imperforate rarity.[cr][lf][cr][lf]Signed A. Diena and accompanied by a 1994 RPS certificate, as well as a 1994 expert opinion letter from Arnold J.B. Rudge attesting that this stamp is an Earliest Impression; ex-Kanai (Scott #3; $15,750.
