#120, 24c Green and violet, single tied along with 3c Green (#147) by quartered cork cancels to court house cover to Augusta, Georgia, "New Orleans, La./Dec 10" datestamp at right, docket at bottom reads "Recd from post office Dec 18, 1878," cover has been skillfully refolded which is not mentioned on the accompanying certificate, otherwise very fine and an extremely late useage; only 72 24c 1869 covers are recorded in the 1869 Pictorial Research Associates census, of which only 23 are domestic, with this cover apparently not being one of them; 1960 PF certificate.
