Italian States mint and used collection on pages containing over 170 singles plus several pairs and other multiples, the most significant area is the Roman States with a large portion of the different stamps as issued, including duplication showing different cancels and shades, includes some of the rare values such as two used 50b Blue and an unused example of the 1Sc Rose of the first issue (all three signed by various experts), plus used examples of 3c Black on lilac gray imperforate and 3c Black on gray perforated (both signed) of the later 1867-68 issues, many of the other values also present including some on piece, also includes a nice representative collection of Lombardy Venetia plus a few of Two Sicilies and Neapolitan Provinces, condition varies widely including some with faults as are frequently found in this area but also include some extremely fine examples with seven or eight dividing lines on first issue Roman States and the range of fine-very fine that come between these extremes; Sassone catalog value in excess of €35,000.00 and a collection worth examining for the better value here; many better stamps are signed by experts of this area.
