S.G. #MP2, 1908 "Pd ¼d/WGMcC" red manuscript provisional on fresh locally addressed cover cancelled by "George Town/Oc 16, 08/Cayman Islands" datestamp, very fine; this marking was used from 4-27 October 1908 during a shortage of stamps and this endorsement was applied by the new Postmaster, William G. McCausland.
