Hawaii reference collection comprised of many hundreds of items, both genuine and forgeries, mounted and annotated on quadrille pages in an album, starts with a remarkable 85 Missionary forgeries, these being mostly Fournier, but also some Peter Winter and others, the Kamehameha III includes 43 various forgeries, two 1861 5c on bluish paper on faked cover to New York, plus genuine examples, mostly re-issues and specimen overprints, the Numerals are comprised of 198 forgeries, including multiples, plus six genuine examples, Kamehameha IV contains eight forgeries, the Royal Portraits 28 forgeries and the Provisional Government overprints four forgeries, all these forgeries present as both "mint" and "used," genuine stamps in mixed condition; an interesting lot that would be difficult to duplicate;
