#99, 24c Gray lilac, "F" grill, an extraordinarily fresh example of this notoriously difficult mint stamp, with vivid rich color and a razor-sharp impression, full clean original gum showing only the barest trace of hinging, fine; 2001 PF certificate as a top sheet-margin single, the selvage having been subsequently removed.
