#41, 3c Scarlet reprint, without gum as issued, a choice example of this very scarce and perennially difficult reprint, being an especially large example of this value and much better centered than usual, especially when one considers how poorly centered many of these can come, incredibly intense color and a crisp impression on bright paper, very fine; only 479 issued.
