#26a, 3c Dull red, Ty. IV scarce used block of six (2x3) with two strikes of New Orleans c.d.s., exceptionally well centered and showing well the breaks in the frame lines, top pair with several short perfs. and an unobtrusive stain in the top left stamp, tiny wrinkle in the bottom right stamp, very fine appearance; a very difficult type from the plate 9-12 group and especially scarce in such a large multiple; catalog value is for a block of four and a pair.
