IV, pos. 76L1, recut at bottom, a lovely single with large full margins all around, rich color and excellent impression, tied to neat petite cover to Sacramento City, Cal. by well struck "Portland, Me./Paid/June 6" c.d.s., very clean with a couple of trivial faint tone spots to the cover mentioned for accuracy only, extremely fine; a very pretty cover of this scarce type that is going from the extreme east to the extreme west of the United States.
