#496a, 5c Blue coil, small perforation holes variety, perf. 10 vert, choice mint pair, beautifully centered amid uncommonly large margins, rich color and post office fresh, o.g., n.h., extremely fine; the small holes varieties are normally found on the later coils, but this rare variety has recently been discovered on this much earlier coil; exceptionally scarce and listed but as yet not priced in Scott, however we offered a fine pair in our July auction which realized $500.00 hammer; 2015 PSE certificate (VF-XF 85; SMQ neither listed nor priced).
